Apprentice Welcome Packs
My Car
The team at My Car reached out to us last year to start discussing and putting options together for their new apprentices starting at multiple locations across Australia. They wanted to curate a unique welcome pack which the recipients would be use and cherish during their whole apprenticeships and beyond.
It was clear right away that we wouldn’t be able to achieve My Cars vision to life using off the shelf products and we would have work with our excellent offshore suppliers to make this work.
Of course all of the items had to be either car centric or essential for the everyday life of a mechanic apprentice. My Car also wanted to use these gift packs to show their appreciation for their new apprentices while also providing them with all the relevant company information and messaging to them started on their My Car Journey.
Full Colour Custom Giftbox - Die Cut Box with Locking Lid
As these gift packs would be sent to multiple My Car locations across the country, we opted to go for a sturdy die cut box with a locking lid to keep the content secure and safe during transit. The client also wanted to make sure the box was unequivocally My Car and want a to create a box that was decorated all over in their custom colours. We also added some company messaging to the box lid, so on first open the new apprentices are presented with the companies’ values and vision.
Single Wall Stainless Steel Bottle
To ensure each apprentice stays well hydrated and ready to learn the ins and outs of the business these Stainless Steel Water Bottle were a must have in these gift boxes. This stylish but durable water bottle will be prefect to withstand the day to day in a Mechanics workshop.
Venture A5 Notebook
Each apprentice will be learning a lot of new skills and learning the workings of how My Car do business – these notebooks are a prefect way for new starters to make notes while on the tools and at TAFE (or similar).
Bamboo Socks
These subtly branded My Car Tyre Custom Bamboo socks are a fun addition the gift pack. These super comfy toe warmers are perfect to be in and out of work – who knows maybe Fun Socks Fridays might even become a regular event at My Car?
Custom Tyre Bluetooth Speaker
It’s not uncommon for a workshop to be alive with the sound of music. This custom tyre shaped Bluetooth speaker is compact and powerful and perfect for work, home and even the beach!
Custom Tool Keyring
Every trades person needs tools and this multi driver key ring is the prefect addition to anyone’s tool bag. These Multi Tool key ring also come with a 3D printed My Car tag, these we’re designed and printed in house here at Add Value.
Water Skill Tester Game
Straight out of the 90’s these Water Skill Tester Games are an awesome and entertaining gift for anyone and I’m sure the apprentices will be inundated with requests for a go!
Apprentice Information Card
Presented on top of all the gift box goodies the Information Card has important information for any new employee starting at My Car and a lovely welcome message from the Chief People Officer at My Car.
We loved collaborating with My Car on this Gift Pack project, My Car are a prefect example of a company who are practicing a people first business model. This gift pack wholey showcases that ethos and their support of the apprentices’ career and wellbeing.
Conclusion
We loved working and collaborating with the My Car team on this project because they had some incredible ideas and they allowed the Add Value team to get creative and come up with solutions to make My Cars vision into reality.
